The vortex breaker is used to avoid vortex formation and to minimise air induction into the media. It allows for a centred immersion of the dispersing element into the vessel without dry running of the bearing. Therefore also small amounts can be dispersed, even with higher speed. The vortex breaker is axially movable at the dispersing element allowing for an optimal adjustment to the vessel.
